About the event

Join us this fall at the North Carolina Arboretum for Wood, Wonder & Renewal—a community event hosted by Echoes of the Forest. We're kicking off our partnership with the Arboretum on Saturday, September 20, at 11 AM to celebrate the spirit of renewal as we honor Western North Carolina’s fallen trees and the artists giving them new life. We will gather at the Arboretum's "Playing Fields" where we are installing a playful box turtle by Maggie Valley artist, Mike Ayers. This turtle will stand at 3 ft. tall and 5 ft. long, giving children plenty of room to play on and around our box turtle.

We'll see you at the Arboretum on September 20th at 11 am for the box turtle unveiling!
