with Echoes of the Forest
Join us in transforming Hurricane Helene's devastation into hope and healing. Support local artisans, honor fallen trees, and help rebuild Western North Carolina's creative community.
Become a Steward of Transformation
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene's impact on Western North Carolina—damaging 821,906 acres across 39 counties and causing $59.6 billion in economic losses—Echoes of the Forest is turning fallen trees into symbols of resilience.
By sponsoring an Echoes of the Forest memorial public art installation along our Echo woodworking trail, you become a champion for local artists, community healing, and environmental education. Your support transforms tragedy into lasting legacies for generations.

Benefits of Stewardship
When you sponsor an installation, your contribution creates ripple effects:

-
Direct Economic Support: Funds go straight to local woodworkers, providing paid commissions in a region where 78% of forest damage hit private lands.
-
Permanent Recognition: Your name or organization is etched on a dedication plaque, honoring your role in our revival story.
-
Educational Impact: Installations include elements on Hurricane Helene, forest ecology, and sustainable recovery, inspiring visitors, students, and tourists.
-
Community Healing: Public art fosters gathering spaces for processing trauma, boosting tourism and the creative economy.
-
Environmental Innovation: Salvaged wood becomes valuable art, promoting sustainability and climate resilience.
