Our Board Members

The Echoes of the Forest team formed swiftly, united by our passion for transforming downed trees from Helene into art. We’re excited to see this vision unfold. Our professionally diverse board is committed to supporting Western North Carolina’s economic and environmental recovery. We recognize the vital role our mountains, forests, wildlife, waterways, and ecosystems play in our community’s wellness and renewal, and we’re eager to see this vision take shape.

Our Volunteers

Echoes of the Forest is powered by dedicated volunteers who bring resilience, passion, and a deep commitment to community. From newcomers to Western North Carolina who found purpose in our mission after witnessing Hurricane Helene's devastation, to lifelong champions of civic engagement and environmental stewardship, our volunteers are the heart of what we do. They contribute diverse skills — from nonprofit development and digital strategy to fundraising and community outreach — all in service of transforming fallen trees into meaningful works of public art.

If you share a love for nature, the arts, and the spirit of Western North Carolina, we'd love to welcome you to the forest family. Reach out to learn how you can make a difference at info@echoesoftheforest.org.
